About me

Hello, my name is Marco Verheul, I'm 44 years old and I live in Haarlem. I am a professional webdesigner / developer and an amateur photographer.

I had a fascination with photography as long as I can remember. In 2004 I started to take it more seriously and joined some photography courses where I started with the basics and build on that.

I try to add new stuff regularly, but no guarantees there!

Why Egotripping?

Well, it's all about my work and I wanted to add a sence of humor to the website. The name popped up while listening to the beautiful song Egotripping at the Gates of Hell by The Flaming Lips. It was two days after I registered the domain name that I discovered that the latest Snoop Dogg album is called Ego Trippin'. What can I say, he was first...
